Athlone Town followed up last weeks 1-0 win over Waterford FC by claiming all 3 points thanks to a 2-1 win tonight in Ferrycarrig Park against Wexford FC.
Athlone Town opened the scoring on 32 mins through Jose Viegas who capitalised on a mix up between the Wexford goalkeeper and defence before Colm Coss doubled the lead just a minute before half time when his header from a Niall Scullion cross went in of the bar.
