Athlone Town U15s lost their first League game of the season this weekend, going down 1-0 in their top of the table clash away to Malahide United. Town remain top of the table, 2 points clear of the Dublin side.

The U16s were also away from home this weekend when they travelled to face Collinstown in the SFAI Cup. They enjoyed a 6-3 win to advance to the Last 32 open draw section of the national competition, as well as progressing to the DDSL Regional Playoffs. The goals today came from Liam Brennan, Trevor Keena, Aaron Keane, Jordan Carr, Oisin Duffy and Adam Cronin.

The U17s were also in Cup action, this time the Leinster Youth Cup. They were away to St. Joseph’s Boys U18s, and came away with an excellent 8-0 win. Callum McKelvey bagged 4, Tom O’Carroll 2 with one each from Joe Carmody and Niall Doolin.
